I have slept with a guitar in the bed. I often will, if I sleep alone. I don't sleep alone often, but I still have a guitar next to my bed.
If I had to choose between the guitar and her, I'd choose the guitar without hesitation. She'd never put me in that position, of course.
I have guitars that cost more than your car, quite likely. I'm pretty passionate about playing. Alas, sexy as guitars might be, I've never had sex with one. I have murdered a couple, but they deserved it. I've worn some out completely to the point where repairing them isn't worth it.
How much did your guitar cost? Why did you sleep with a guitar in your bed? ;)
Is that your girlfriend? :D How long have you been together?
How do you feel about not having any kids
How was it like when you 'murdered' a guitar. Did you like break it on stage or something?
LOL, I OPTED OUT OF BUYING A CAR AND I HAVE Two 1000$ PC's.
The internet is my connection to 70% of everything.
I have many guitars, a sizable collection that has been amassed over more than 45 years. If there is nobody here, I'll play myself to sleep. Before I sleep, I put the guitar beside me on the bed.
My first guitar was a Yamaha GC, you might want to look that up. Mine was built in 1965 and I still own it.
I have two kids, they are both older than you.
I've worn out guitars. They just aren't worth fixing. They can always be repaired, but I have better gear and those were show and practice guitars. They get worn out when you play them a lot. I've worn out a number of them, including wearing holes into several. I've wormpn out frets and fretboards.
I've only broken one guitar on stage and it was an accident. I've recently shared the story.
I have a number of guitars that are collectible. I have some pretty old guitars that are collectible. I have some custom made guitars, both from small makers and from the larger company custom order shops. I have a few customs from Fender, for example, that are just show guitars. They only come out when performing. Well, two are semi customs and two are full customs. The two full custom jobs are a telecaster with a scalloped fretboard and a 12 over 6 Strat. That's not dreadfully custom, they just don't make many, so you get to order it bespoke. Mine is a forest green with light green pick guard and bronze colored hardware. The telecaster is in cherry red. The major difference with that is that the fretboard is scalloped. As near as I know, I'm the only one with a guitar like that. You can get the scalloped fretboard on the Strats.
You have a guitar from 1965? WOW Is it all worn out or do you keep replacing parts of it?
Do you like collecting old guitars or something? How many guitars do you have?
What's a show guitar? what's a fretboard? Is that the thing under the strings of a guitar, what part of it is it?
I have guitars older than that. It's in fine shape, actually. That is my first guitar and it hits a repair shop yearly. It isn't broken, but it gets cleaned and inspected. It's in fine shape.
I have new guitars, as well. I love the old guitars.
I am not sure how many guitars I own. It exceeded the 100 mark, put it that way. A show guitar is one that is just used while performing. A fretboard is the wood under the strings. It's the wood that's on the front of the neck, it's where my left hand is making the notes. The metal things are frets. Those make let you change the effective length of the string that is vibrating.
How many square feet is the house you live in?
What country was it made in? ;)
What's your most expensive guitar?
I remember frets vaguely from playing the violin in school, aren't those the things that loosen or tighten the string? Doesn't it almost slightly change the pitch of the string?
Do guitars have six strings or four? Since you play them a lot how often do you have to deal with strings breaking?
No, those are tuning pegs. The length stays the same when you tighten them. Frets are where you put your fingers to make a different note, to keep it simply.
Actually, visit v/Guitar. There's a stick with the most common guitar parts.

Did you miss the post anon option?
DieselBustersYes ago
Oh yeah, whoops. @TheBuddha do you like impersonating people?
TheBuddha ago
No, I identify myself whenever asked or I feel it's important enough. I dislike anon, unless it's mindless absurdities.

like... did @TheBuddha kill and rape a guitar in 1989?

I'm not going to disclose that.

Sorry about asking how many square feet your house is. If that sounded creepy. See you over at /v/Guitar! :D
