Which is exactly why we cannot rely on "US Gov..."
We must all find a way to band together and rely on ourselves and each other. Government is useless. All of us that are self sufficient must teach as many around us as possible how to be as self reliant. It's the only way going into the future, if there's still a future for America. I feel sorry for all the good people who are stuck in crappy places in big cities. I'm fortunate that I happen to live in a rural area with a little land. I got out of the cookie-cutter housing in a medium sized city almost 20 years ago. I saw this shit coming and wanted space. I can grow food and I'm prepped for outages etc...
I don't think I could live any other way for the rest of my days.
