Been a grand scale social engineering psyop for a long time.

Adam Curtis! FTW! That guy is the same BBC reporter who did the story called "Al Qaeda Does Not Exist." The video used to be online, but was banned (at least in the US). Curtis wrote this about it:

"Something extraordinary has happened to American TV since September 11. A head of the leading networks who had better remain nameless said to me that there was no way they could show it. He said, 'Who are you to say this?' and then he added, 'We would get slaughtered if we put this out.' When I was in New York I took a DVD to the head of documentaries at HBO. I still haven't heard from him."

Excellent documentary. It taught me that Bernays was directly responsible for marketing cigarettes to women and got most women addicted to smoking.

It also lead to the increase in heart attacks in the 1950's (takes about 20-30 years for tobacco to cause heart disease). There is a strong link between smoking and heart disease (smokers have a 5x higher rate than non-smokers).

In the 1950's, Americans were getting more and more heart attacks. People wanted to know WTF was going on. It had a lot to do with the fact that so many people were smoking (women had never smoked before Bernays and men were not smoking as much as they did in the 50's). But of course the criminal cabal did not want to shine a light on smoking.

Instead, they hired Ancel Keys (Rockefeller guy) to promote that false idea that saturated fat in the diet caused heart disease. He did a study of 22 countries, but cherry-picked 7 to "prove" that high fat in the diet led to heart attacks. It was a lie, because when all 22 countries were included, there was no correlation.

That was the start of the "fat makes you fat" and "fat causes heart attacks" narrative. It was a lie then, and has always been a lie.

Bernays is also the one who came up with the slogan "Make the world safe for democracy" as a manipulation tool to get Americans to support entry into WWI. They have been using it for every war since.

Best thing about the Doc is that it was made before 9-11 so there was no motive to not create/air it. Many never knew how badly we were manipulated as society. They slow walked it until Bath house Barry and Michael. Then kicked it all into top gear in 2015.
