Well, it's gone now, after over 1100 downvoats. I think the mod may have had good intentions with the post, trying to make the point that QRV is all about nonviolence, but he really missed the mark on that one. He inadvertently tapped into a robust amount of pent-up frustration at the system and people now openly talking about vigilantism when the police cannot or will not do what they're paid to do. I know in my own neighborhood, a few of us older veterans have had "the talk" and will know what to do if trouble ever comes to our little corner of the world. There are acres and acres of kudzu nearby, enough to hide a lot of bodies, if it came to it.
Sticky is gone. That debate caused a lot of unnecessary division among patriots. Sticky was not appropriate. Mods must use their sticky power more carefully.
Let us just look forward, there is no reason to keep re-opening the wound.
Nope. I am a patriot. Mod was a fool to sticky that post, but I also think it is a bad idea to make a hero out of Kyle. Nothing against Kyle, but that last thing we want is our 17 year old sons to run around at night with rifles in riot zones, hoping to get in a gun fight to become a famous hero like Kyle.
