Most Freemasons are good solid men who are just trying to be upstanding, charitable, men of integrity. They are no different from most good church going men. The problem, as in churches and every other organization, is a small number of corrupt people, likely deep state connected. The "level" or "degree" of the Freemason has nothing to do with his corruption. It's about how corruptable the person is. Some low level and high level Freemasons alike are corrupt. The vast majority are good, Patriots.

My Old Man was a Mason. He was a good man. Basically flipped pancakes at fundraisers. Small town. It was deemed an honor to be asked to join. A few months in, my father was not impressed, but he still maintained his membership due to business reasons. Not very active towards the end of his life. Told my brothers and I not to join Demoley and wouldn't let his daughters join the female rainbow group. He knew something was wrong with the organization. Claimed the higher ups were slimy to say the least. When my older brother was asked to join the Masons he declined. I was never asked as by the mid-1980s the Masons were not that prominent. My father died a decade ago. Wish I had asked him more about his experiences with the Masons.
