The reality is humans are God's chosen people. And not just humans, all sapient life is God's Chosen children. The idea that a exclusive group of people have declared themselves and only themselves as God's favored really goes to show how they have put themselves before God doesn't it?

You will get a lot of shill answers (and so will I for my reply) but yes, the Jews are Gods chosen people no matter what they do, because of Gods covenant with Abraham. The way I reconcile all of this is that Jews are truly bad, yes, and are taking advantage of their status by thinking they therefore have the right to take over the world and have the world be their servants, when they don’t understand that it is currently the “church age,” or “age of the Gentiles” where Israel has been set aside because of their unbelief (Romans 9-11) and God is presently dealing with the church. They will eventually inherit the earth as God said but since they don’t believe God and are depraved, they are trying to effect Gods “promise” now, through evil and deceitful ways. God will judge them (and the world) for this during the 7 year tribulation, but God will save 1/3 of them and bring them through (Zechariah 14).

With the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, ANYONE who believes in Christ and follows his teachings will be saved and the doors to the Kingdom of Heaven will be open to them. Jesus himself said that "none shall come to the Father except through Me."

So yes - the Jews WERE the chosen people who were living with the promise that was given to Abraham: that through the Jews God would bring his Son into the world. That promise has been fulfilled (even though the Jews are still waiting for their savior). With Christ, to be a member of the chosen ones, you no longer need to be born into a Jewish tribe and have Jewish blood. We are all united to Him through His blood that He shed on the Cross.

In other words - this means that there are no chosen ones except those who choose to follow Christ. This is the NEW promise which Christ has given to all mankind - not to just a single race.

As far as I'm concerned, ANY Christian who continues to say that the Jews are somehow special and "chosen" today - are actually ANTI-Christians, since the spirit of the anti-christ lives within them. By saying that the Jews are still 'chosen' and when they raise the jewish faith over their christian faith - they deny that Jesus Christ was divine and they deny that humanity has been saved through His death on the Cross.

SO... there is no other sauce than that. The Jews WERE the chosen ones according to the old promise God made with Abraham. With the NEW promise of Jesus Christ - all people can be saved - even the Jews, if they choose to accept Christ as their savior, take up their cross, and follow Him.
