Disney gave me the creeps as a child—Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with scenes of forced child labor in the mines, Sleeping Beauty put into a mind-controlled trance, just the sheer number of stories of children separated from their parents...but you know, some of these stories have been around for generations. Evil is nothing new; it just gained horrific power because good people assume everyone else is inherently “good” and they refuse to see and deal with evil.
