Wound was at the TOP right of the skull, consistent with falling down and hitting the desk? A desk is 30" tall. As a human falls over with their feet on the ground, their body would be at an upward angle when their head would hit the top of a desk 3 feet tall. The wound would therefore be on the side or lower-side area of the head, not at the top.
The top wound suggests to me a blunt object had struck her head as it fell downward toward her. So the ceiling must have caved in...right?
