Fuck you with your fake news fear porn. The executive order does not ban prescribing Hydroxychloroquine. The order only requires doctors to enroll the patient in one of the clinical trials when he prescribes the drug.

Looked up the EO, 202.10 It’s listed as such:

No pharmacist shall dispense hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine except when written as prescribed for an FDA-approved indication; or as part of a state approved clinical trial related to COVID-19 for a patient who has tested positive for COVID-19, with such test result documented as part of the prescription. No other experimental or prophylactic use shall be permitted, and any permitted prescription is limited to one fourteen day prescription with no refills.

So on the Rx a notation added to read something like; “for COVID19 positive patient” and the pharmacist will fill it.

I thought I had a right to privacy. the pharmacist doesn't need to know why you are given meds.

you dont have a right to privately access a drug you didnt make yourself for a disease that is causing the country to fall to its knees. nowhere in the constitution does it say you have a right to that. gtfo anarcho libertarian shit

Not sure as you have a point in one sense, but in another sense many times prescriptions get noted for insurance to cover them. Also HIPAA law extends to the pharmacy. After all they too have patients personal info such as address phone, ins info, abuse info if a drug abuser and can call prescribers for further info should the pharmacist feel they may need more info on the patient.

It seems like a bad , legal work around to stop doctors .

23076501? ago

Stop doctors? Yes, I know all about that. In 2010 behind closed doors in the middle of the night the ACA was passed. Lost everything in life worked so hard for. Everything, except got to keep the massive student loan debt as a badge of honor.

10 year anniversary, but who’s counting.

otheranon here. I don't care what words were passed into "law" -- my info is private and the pharmacist does not need to know anything about my relationship with my doctor.

23076581? ago

Yes he or she does. HIPAA law extends to the pharmacy. They have more drug information than any doctor. They are your last line of defense for being prescibed drugs that could interact with other drugs that could kill you. Most people get scripts from many differnt doctors.

Not arguing with you and understand what you’re saying. That said, on intake with any medical facility, you sign the HIPPA agreement. If not, then you cannot be seen.

And it’s all digitalized to boot. Privacy? What privacy?

Take it up with them, but good luck trying to get anywhere.
