Look at all the bad apples that are getting it.

Possibility is there. What if Q did this to them as a way to ID the guilty?

Dude, I doubt we’ll ever know. Think about this though...they’ve found cells of aborted fetuses from the 60s in vaccines....what if we’ve all gotten adrenochrome and never knew it?
