Richard Pan is a giant douche, who believes that he is smarter than everyone else, and therefore he knows whats best for everyone.

He was obviously "seeking power" when he ran for Senate, to advance his own vaccine agenda on his subjects,

This "anti-vaccine activist" is "Austin Bennett", who is pretending to be anti-vaccine, but is in fact controlled-opposition,

and his mission appears to be to derail legal challenges to SB277 etc by pretending to be a lawyer representing anti-vaccine interests, but in fact deliberately mis-representing vaccine interests in courts, so they deliberately lose the case.

his shoving of Richard Pan is obviously scripted and planned, as a way to smear anti-vaccine people as violent and unreasonable.

so far as i know, the anti-vaccine activists haven't made an issue out of her being a Jew, and i suspect she did the (((Dorit Reiss))) thing preemptively so that she can hide behind being a Jew, and accuse the anti-vaccine activists of being anti-Semites.

to her credit, she is a twitter "troll" who uses her real name, and she does appear to be sincere in her beliefs, and defends them eloquently, which really makers her stand out among twitter trolls who use anonymous usernames, and spout all kinds of hateful rhetoric, death wishes, etc

Renee DiResta is very well connected to the tech world, and to the political world.

She posed for a photograph with Hillary Clinton, and shared it publicly at Facebook, and was happy with all the positive feedback she got.

But then someone posted a screen shot of the photo to twitter, as a way to attack Hillary Clinton, by linking Clinton to vaccine extremists like DiResta.

When DiResta realized that she had become a political liability to Hillary Clintons campaign, she panicked and tried to have the screen cap taken down, by filing a DMCA complaint.

the DMCA was already wildly un-popular, on its own merits and demerits,

but when the DMCA was used to take down a photo of Hillary Clinton associating with a vaccine extremist, it introduced the vaccine debate to a whole new group of people who were previously disengaged on the vaccine debate.

then, because the way the DMCA works, DiResta had to agree to have her PII (home address, phone number) sent to the person she is accusing of DMCA violation, so of course the accused shares her info on twitter DM, and it gets out to everyone real quick... DiResta is gently made aware of the fact that her info is everywhere...

So then DiResta goes on the offensive against the DMCA, and how fucked up it is that she has to send her private info to what she believes are her stalkers/ enemies.

personally, i think she made a good point.

But in the course of complaining about the DMCA, she continued to draw in a wider and wider audience to the photo of DiResta and Clinton, and to bring new attention to the vaccine debate.
