Since the 70s there has been a concerted effort to hire a certain kind of police officer and a certain kind of teacher with just the right attitude. There are many good cops, so making this an all cops thing is ridiculous.
The problem is the judicial system.
They are lenient on predators of children, because the entire system is infested with them and they don't want to set a precedent that fucks them over if they get caught themselves.

My house got broken into (by a piece of shit) and the cops reacted quickly, made an arrest and recovered all of my valuable. Real pieces of shit... I know. Wish I never called them.
He is a traitor to his community in addition to a criminal, as a cop violating the law he has been entrusted to enforce, he should receive double the sentence at a minimum.
