Actually I know several Jews in Scotland who have lived there for generations. It's not unusual. After WWII they scattered all over, many have been there since the 1400s. How do you think they got banks?
Curiosity drove me to check a bit. As of 2011 census, Scotland hosts 5,400,000 people, and of that total, less than 6,000 identify as Jewish. Roughly 1/10th of 1%.
My great grandmother was born in Scotland and she worked at a jewelry store owned by - guess - a jew who had lived in Scotland since 1280 - well his family lived there.
