I've met a few over my 50 years in CA and believe me, they are not even close to what they might seem. 99% are uppity assholes who truly look down on the rest of us. A very long time ago actors were considered what we might call 'useful idiots'. Just a little entertainment for royalty and the upper echelon of society. They were not held in high regard at all. I wonder when and why that all changed.
