The reason I came on voat first was basically a fuck you to reddit and other social media, I came to voat to laugh at its crazy 4chan culture but I guess i stayed too long. I reported several ISIS social media, jihadi Iranian pages, and Saudi islamist accounts from facebook and reported other social to the FBI really they were nasty pages with islamic messages, murder and jihad stuff ... the FBI did fucking almost nothing, i would keep emailing and contacting groups but nothing, some other guys maybe interpol or local cops seem to have done something. Some one on voat pointed out to me its all a big game, the wars the propaganda the social media, the FBI itself founded by a homosexual masonic shriner named Hoover who would pray to Al-Lah and have these weird faggot parties across europe and arabia with gay weirdos, another of the clown agency became a shit show from day one, Masons have this weird bible with a bunch of Arabic and Jewish occult stuff inside, the whole crap stinks and the FBI connected to the stinky mess.
IIRC a canary was used to go down into mines back in the day to warn miners of dangerous environments. If the canary died, then the miners knew to get out quickly. A warrant canary is a signal that lets it be known an individual or entity has been hit with a subpoena, without that person or entity just coming out and saying that it has happened as it could be illegal to notify the public. Therefore, if the “canary” or signal that all is well disappears, then its assumed a subpoena is in place. In cases of websites, the user data for accessing and using the site may have been turned over to the investigating agency. I cannot confirm or deny the canary used by Voat in question here, rather this was just to shed some light on what is being discussed here.
