It's not a crime and they can't trace it to a printer. They can determine a lot but they won't know who bought it. Pick up a printer from a thrift store and use it.
I wouldn't be surprised if printers would include location specific information; or maybe network stuff and ip, so that they might be able to find you out. A bunch of barely visible yellow dots, I hear.
If I remember correctly, that yellow dot technology was something developed by the manufacturer then distributed throughout a period of about 10 years prior to its existence being discussed in the mainstream.
Long ago the C_A and their foreign counterparts went about the infiltration of every bios and firmware developer and its distributors to obtain the more covert means needed to commandeer the whole of the worlds digital communications.
It is this ability to consume such massive amounts of information that has brought us to the fight we find ourselves struggling against today.
Dots of color no longer necessary. By default they prolly receive copies of every thing in the ICs version of the cloud.
It would probably make more sense to look at the yellow dot story as the way of explaining in courtroom settings how it was they were afforded the evidence against suspects.

Hey guys. Remember that all printers mark the page with a secret identification code on each page!
This could be traced back to the printer real fast.

You still have to register the printer before you use it!
I personally think this is another racebaiting hoax and someone is about to look like a dickhead.

Race baiting hoax? So you're saying the two men at the top of the flyer aren't guilty?

You do not have to register a printer before you use it. You are fucking ignorant.
