There's no need to go into detail. But this system is a house of cards. The collapse which is not a question of if but when could lead to some short-term to median term consequences for us innocent bystanders.

The most important thing I think with preparation for a likely event of a systemic collapse is this:

Cease all purchases of unnecessary items doodads and thingamajigis. If and when you have to purchase something purchase something that is good and that will last.
