First of all, that fucking commercial...if you watch a lot of Fox News you have to endure it several times a day, without a doubt one of the most annoying commercials I've ever seen. Those kids...just so synthetically "cute" as they sing that retarded fucking song with big gap-toothed smiles. The song is considered to be one of the "catchiest" TV commercial jingles ever created, and you may have noticed that Rock Auto's theme song sounds like it was written by the same people.

Every time I saw this commercial I thought to myself that these people were spending a shitload of money on advertising...20 spots a day on Fox must cost a fortune, and that's only one of the many places they advertise. I'm always suspicious of charities...no matter how legit they are, you know there's a few people at the top getting fat (the CEO of the Red Cross makes $500,000 a year, plus a very generous expense allowance you can be sure). So I did some diggin' and found this on Wikipedia...

"Kars4Kids is a nonprofit car donation organization based in Lakewood, New Jersey. Kars4Kids is a United States-based 501 nonprofit organization whose mission is to fund educational, developmental and recreational programs for Jewish youth and their families."

And then there was a CBS news story in 2017...

This is 100% true. All money supports the booming Lakewood Hasidic Jew community. This is not a “charity” in any sense, and it’s been frustrating to watch and listen to the ads for many years. It’s unconscionable that people will just “give” these people their cars and other stuff.

There are many other actual charities and noble causes.

It would be one thing if they advertised the fact that they were a Jewish charity, that would be forgivable almost, but not ONCE do they mention it. It comes off as "Give us your car and we'll help kids", just not mentioning that they're only gonna help the Jewish kids. The whole thing is shifty and underhanded, two words that are pretty much synonymous with a certain people.

Must be huge money involved, like I said they're spending millions on advertising, it's gotta be coming back to them.

"synthetically cute" is a way to put it. This commercial plays alot on siriusXM and I always noticed how well modulated the kids voices are. Like they are trying to to get the highest fidelity sound possible just for the kids voices... always creeped me out and knew there was a reason for it.
