Woke is indeed short for awoke. So far, I’ve found the term used only by people involved in truther movements and/or conspiracy theories. At the very least, to be woke means you know what’s really going on, usually in the context of world affairs, but I’ve also seen it used in a spiritual/metaphysical context.

Trump had the real report, Q claimed, and that report’s release would solve everything. In which was also refuted by John Kelly and again still no report has been released by the POTUS.
