Tread lightly. Once these guys get convicted they never stay clean, if they were from the beginning. Most sell out to reagin their freedom. As a Dallas prep boy, Barrett was never one I would picture doing hard time for his principles. I was surprised to see his name pop up today as Barrett should still be in prison, but it turns out he was released four years early, awful suspicious. What deal did he cut? For those who don't know, Barrett was popped for the Stratfor (private Mossad based out of Austin) hack. Very possible he was tied to the dirty SABU from the beginning. Quick search shows he is still active and writing for Vice. There is no chance he would have access to the internet if he was not set loose for a reason. He's fishing. Buyer beware.
