Parallel governments and they intended to declare Trumps illegitimate to replace it with an unelected one where Obama was still president. This is why they all still call him the president.

The first president in history to refuse to step down at the end of his term.

He ran and was elected for 4 terms, which broke tradition but not the law. The amendment limiting Presidents to two terms was passed after his death.
