Most Americans are confused. They think the current country of Israel is the same as the nation of Israel in the Bible. They are two different things and two different sets of people.

How is it BS? There was a DNA survey of Israel where it was found that most of the citizens were not of Semitic ancestry. In other words, they were not Israelites or Arabs, but most probably Ashkenazi or white Europeans.

The "Jews" were only from the tribe of Judah. That's only a small portion of the Israelites.

So the Biblical nation of Israel is definitely not the same as the current country cleverly named Israel.
