Yang is taking certain playbook ideas from Bernie Sanders 2016 campaign. Bernie attracted people that are in the "geek culture"(basically video games, comic books, etc) because his marketing team knew how to market towards them by making pop culture references. How do I know Yang is doing this? Because Andrew Yang was at New York Comic Con last year(2018) with his booth setup.
