You know growing up I always thought that number was unusually high. I also noticed in school whenever me or another student said anything that even remotely challenged this we were always shot down with no real reason ever given.

Then I learned about Palestine and how many were murdered to a degree which amounted to an ethic cleansing. In my years I have grown to learn that people who were true victims of such horrific abuse, beyond which most could not comprehend all have a similar outlook on life when pressed: "I would not wish this on my worst enemy, to experience what I had to go through". If this is true of individuals, then it stands to reason this should hold true for collective of people who have also experience such a calamity. This would be forever be woven in the fabric of their ethic/cultural makeup.

But that's not what you see from these people. They should be the first to recoil from any kind of violence, but instead they are always first to sound the bells of war. That to me, was and still is their biggest tell -- Their lack of humanity.
