What this tells me is volumes. Trusts, living trusts and the like are the wealth preserving legal maneuvers of the super wealthy so they can pass on assets to the next generation tax free. There are many legal loop wholes you get from putting your wealth into trusts and passing on that wealth with out inheritance tax until it is actually withdrawn and used. And even then there are loop holes which can withdraw it and use it for limited reasons, still tax free.

Here is the rub, Trump made it clear in a few Presidential executive orders that those monies found playing footsie in corruption, treason and a few other things will be confiscated (assets seized) and charges to be brought forth. I see this as an attempt for corrupt bankers to sell of and distance themselves from assets that could be seized when found out those assets supported treasonous activity, bribery, corruption, etc.

It's like a three degrees of separation game for asset seizure, it is all about trying to save their ass and loose the least amount of money when the hunting hounds start chasing their rabbit.
