For the last couple of weeks the update would not work. Time out on each bread getting "the chans are busy warning".

No Joy. Might be due to Q posting. I'll try again later when things die down.

I launch the app, let it load, then click update button. Text at the top says checking breads. Then after a few seconds it pops the busy warning. Prior to the update, I went as far as cancelling out every bread check thinking it might be the old breads causing the problem. Clicked up to 200 then gave up. My last full update was the Dec 13 posts.

Any logs I can post or something else I can check to help out? Win 7 Pro, fully updated. fast internet pipe. I have IT background but not coding.

Hmmm. I cant seem to recreate that on my POS win 7 laptop or my win 10 desktop. Have you tried running the exe in administrator mode? Looking at the code the only time you should see that message is when it can't get to the catalog page. Are you able to get to the catalog manually on full chan?

App errors out trying to Run as Admin. From here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Q Research\Q Offline Archive\QResearch.exe

Windows error pops up, QResearch has stopped working. two options: search for fix or close program. Same error as before when trying to update.

OK now its locking up by clicking the left tool bar. Let me do a complete uninstall/reinstall.

It did a hiccup at first launch but seems to be back to normal. After the Q graphic, a window popped showing what I think is data from a local file, (C:\Users\Mike\Downloads\RedPill\qresearch backup\Archive3\Archive\Q Offline Archive.zip\Resources\Database\allQPosts.json?) as it was up to date from what was shown when the app fully launched. Which was my last update on Dec 13.

I've had to do a reinstall before. Fresh install, runs fine, install next update over the top. Works for awhile then updates fail. Do a complete uninstall/reinstall, runs fine, next new update installed over the top, same problems arise. Note to self.... ;)

Will keep an eye on it. Thanks!

Are you running it from inside the zip file? Looks like it from the path you posted. If so, that would likely cause some problems. Unzip first before you run.
