Best first step for anyone is to cut that damn cable. You don't know you're being programmed until you've been away from TV for a few months. Now when I'm stuck in a waiting room somewhere with the usual CNN on a tv there, I'm thinking how do people continue to watch this garbage. Even worse is any morning talk show, especially one that shall not be named.

Cut the cable but also talk radio if you are like my parents who think nationally syndicated radio news is the only news.
