Schumer has been trying to play hardball with POTUS. He's been doing this for his dem base what's left of it - and also because he is a bought and paid for Deep State player/asset. He cannot lay down willy-nilly because he is owned! The question then becomes what basis does he have for taking this challenge to the SCOTUS? Since there is no basis, and he knows it, this is an entirely empty threat and he knows this as well as Trump does - and he knows Trump knows. So who is ignorant here? Who's willing to "swallow" this? The answer is simple, the American general public. All of this grandstanding is directed at the dem portion of that group to make them think he has control over POTUS. In reality, however, you cannot simply take a challenge to the highest court in the land without a basis, especially, one where POTUS has clear Constitutional Authority to shut down the border as a National Security measure should he choose to do it.
