I think everyone is aware that it's commonly simultaneously called a Mobile Phone and a Cell Phone, regardless of the English-speaking area you're in. I live in America and neither of the terms are used "more" enough than the other to constitute being a "United States says it this way, other countries say it that way" type of deal. Every job application I can rember filling out here in America asked me for my Mobile Phone number. Everyone who speaks English says both pretty evenly
