Following the posts in order from oldest to newest here is a quick summary of the overall topics. There may be much more I haven't picked up on since I wanted to get this written up and posted quickly.

Huber will reveal the nature and extent of the charter given to him by Sessions, but I seriously doubt he will reveal any specific investigation results or targets of the investigations.

My personal opinion is that this is setting the stage for Huber to begin unsealing indictments. First he tells Congress and the public what he was asked to do--then after the testimony, he begins unsealing indictments showing the results of what he just told Congress and the public he was doing.

It's like, "Well Congress, I was told to indict scumbags and now I'm showing the results of my year long investigation indicting scumbags." Perfect.

If he's testifying in public, I don't believe he can talk much about ongoing investigations. If the investigation is over and sealed indictments are submitted, can he then talk about these investigations in more depth?

If its going to a military tribunal, are the rules different?
