Let’s talk Archetypes
The thing about Archetypal Truths is that they are timeless. No matter what the ideology or sociology of the era, Archetypal Truths remain unchangeable reflections of our inescapable Human Nature
Our ancestors tried to warn us about the dangers and the nature of Vanity. A vanity complex comes in 3 stages :
1) Love & Pride
2) Neglect & Jeopardy
3) Hatred & Destruction (typically the self - hatred & self destructive kind)
These 3 stages are illustrated in the tale of Narcissus:
1 - he sees his reflection in the pond & is transfixed.
2 - his worldly affairs fall into disarray as he is trapped there, and finally
3 - he despairs of his inability to have his love requited by a mere reflection, and stabs himself in the guts with his sword
You see, LOVE isnt the defining characteristic of Vanity. As you see - the love of pursuing something of quality sours and becomes the hatred of not being able to maintain or obtain it
The CORE of vanity is OBSESSION
But we dont just get obsessed with physical beauty. We become obsessed with INNER BEAUTY. With Virtues.
The same 3 stages of Vanity are written of in another Archetypal fable : the Quest for the Holy Grail
In the pursuit of Virtuousness, King Arthur sends his knights off on a quest. But in their long absence, criminals begin to overtake Camelot. Men grow resentful of King Arthur’s reign
In the end, Percival completes the grail Quest - but his efforts are all IN VAIN - Mordred’s army grew large enough to destroy King Arthur and bring Camelot back to the dark ages
So what parallels do these Archetypal lessons have for us today. I suppose there’s any number of perspectives. But try this on for size.
Let’s substitute Voat for Camelot. And @Puttitout for King Arthur . And @Srayzie for just another Round Table Knight who perished before the Quest For the Holy Grail (for which we can substitute Freedom of Speech) was completed
And who is our Percival, here ? There’s a few contenders, for sure - those who refused to quit, mitigate or temporarily suspend their Obsessive Pursuit for a little while to return to the fields of Camelot from which they could hear screams of those being butchered by Mordred and his army
Putt made a call today. And those who are celebrating that call aren’t the Knights who care about Camelot. It is the forces of Mordred who gloat and cheer, those who take glee in nothing but destroying what other people spend years building
all while the Percival’s tell themselves that their demands for perfectionism are worth it

A knight of the round table would have been subjective and not call in their squires to die off as pawns.
Calls of violence have come from all sides of that round table. Funny how the round merges from the good to the bad and back to good in an endless cycle.
Ungodly alliances have been formed. Past enemies have buried the hatchet while once trustworthy allies have gone rogue and fight for the evil empire.
We are called destroyers yet destroyers build. And builders destroy to build. It’s all 50 shades of grey.
Great warriors were called upon and yet they were tarnished from the beginning and found out to be deep fakes.
Camelot still shines because it wasn’t burnt to the ground and only squires who tried to mount their masters horses were burned.
Who can you trust? Trust the federal dollar? No, but people believe in its value.
Was the propaganda machine so rabid that it created boogie men who would have been happy left alone but once cornered struck back? Is that not fool hardy?
Over seas actors did the biggest damage and belief of boom booms and another boom soon had factions believing outside actors were staging attacks yet it was typical political bull shit and most domestic violence.
What about those brave souls made out to be villains? They have families and feelings too! Nazis being hated as they were fought for what they believed in just as much as the British.
Many pawns got played. Sadly they didn’t know what they were fighting for but the boogie man is bad, bad man. But the boogie man was fighting for his home and culture fighting against power hungry actors. It’s so simple to label the boogie man because he’s bad, real bad man. But labeling those who wear white with gullible squires can never do wrong. But the queen fell to her biggest enemy because she wasn’t as pure as the driven snow, her squires couldn’t put her back together again. She went into hiding to lick her wounds yet stays closer than most expect. A retreat so to say, staying active yet in the shadows behind a new curtain of so craftily implemented for such an occasion.
Never attack Voat’s immune system. It’s uncaring and loves none. All is fair in war and no shitz given. For Valhalla awaits to rest those weary alts to be replaced by fresh ones with no histories until found out again and again.
Today’s lesson.
Never ever fuck off the Voat immune system that it reboots and blows up in your face. You have to placate it and give it 88 virgins to keep it happy.
