A few days ago, u/theoldones accused me of spreading malware, despite having no proof.
I had made the book for his subverse as a sort of peace offering, since we had our differences, but were moving past it. I was wrong. I was banned for vote manipulation (as many others were) and he used this to try and spread lies about me. I took the book down because fuck him, he can't have nice things then. I managed to share the book with h8grenade, who has since deleted his account. I will not be sharing the book with anyone else. I can't prove that it wasn't malware, so I will describe how I made the book and people can judge for themselves.
I first copy pasted the text of the havamal into a doc file, and saw that most of the text was in tables. On kindles, tables don't show properly so I started working on that. I copy pasted over 1000 lines of text to get it out of the table, which took quite a long time, and tried to convert it using kindle create. Kindle create only lets you publish to the amazon store, so I looked online for a azw3 converter and then put it into my kindle to check. For some reason, the title of the book was appearing as a string of characters (p1dbmp8m6o1rqq....) so I tried to work on that. I couldn't fix the title, so I gave up and posted the book.
tl;dr u/theoldones cannot be trusted, no you can't have the book

So.. what about the legitimate possibility that one of the probably 30+ network switches between the file and recipient was malware/firmware/trojan/backdoored and it sent a MITM virus to @theoldones?
Plot twist, Maggotbait88 inadvertently saved @theoldones from a virus attack, but neither of them have yet to realize the possibility is quite real and they would rather argue with each-other.
Dun dun duuuuuuuun.
