That's some reddit-tier bullshit you're arguing for.

and you think i'm the problem.... Let me dumb this down your nigger level

Ya shit be fucked up. Dez hoes be posin good shiet outa der den. youz want the fed rollin in fer u black ass? get your sheit t'geter

Reddit mods always justify banning with unwritten rules. Ad hominem doesn't change that one bit.

zombielordzero ago

my point is the old mod ChillyHellion would never have let Aged get away with this. His Original Intent in creating /v/gaming was to share content about video games, not wank material.

The fact you do not have a problem with his posts are a major problem.

Decidueye ago

The purity spiraling, the ex post facto justification of his previous ban, and the constant manipulative arguments prodding the mob are much worse. Most users came here for free speech, even for that which they disagreed with and disliked.

zombielordzero ago

This was not his first ban. I would love to see the ban/unban logs as to just how many times ChillyHellion gave him a chance to not post porn. I know of atleast two bans previous to his current ban, both of which date to before system sub creation.

this is an old problem the old guard is not around to fix. The old thing to do with someone like aged was for ChillyHellion to ban him, wait a month, and unban him and see if he does it again. right before the system subs became a thing he got tired of aged not learning anything and left him banned for a few months. Now that ChillyHellion is long gone, no one is around to deal with him.

This is a perfect example of the insanity from the main instigator dealing with @Aged this time around. I'd be fine with banning him if a rule restricting fanart was agreed with by the community and set in /v/gaming, and he violated it after it's made.

zombielordzero ago

you claim the false fallacy that a rule needs to be broken for a ban to occur. Look at Henrycorp and his subs. he does not need to justify banning anyone yet his list is one of the longest on this site. the community rebelled against him and he is still in charge and free to ban anyone at his wim.

Where is your protest against henrycorp and his ban-happy attitude? or does protecting aged come as a priority?

Decidueye ago

All of HenryCorp's subs are avoided for being notorious shitholes. I deleted the account I used during those days to avoid doxxing, so it'd be rather hard to provably demonstrate that I rebelled against that reddit power mod. And do you really want our admin to ban users on system subs as he pleases for unwritten rules?

zombielordzero ago

if you want the side bar to reach 100 rules, then go ahead and demand a new rule be created that covers what aged is doing. The problem is that he will work around it, and when he does, you will demand another rule to cover his new antics and defend those antics "because they do not break a rule". This is not a rule problem, this is a disruptive account problem. Adding rules when just banning the bastard will deal with the situation is demanding a scuba tank to avoid ever smelling a fart again. If someone want you to smell a fart, they will fart in your scuba tank. rules or no rules aged will be a problem.

You are looking for reddit, not voat.

zombielordzero ago

i want the wishes of the old guard chillyhellion respected. He did not permit porn in his sub!

Octocopter ago

There is a reason many subs with generic names and topics became system subs.

zombielordzero ago

so you want porn in every system sub then?

Octocopter ago

Nope, I am in the "petition to update the rules" boat. Half-assed reddit type bans for rules made after the fact is what I dont agree with. I also told putt directly Aged should have been site wide banned the moment he posted pics from those "child modeling agencies". If he is not willing to ban for that he should not have banned from gaming without a prior rule.
