I've lurked it for awhile now and noticed how pizzagate is its own little website within Voat. Most of the users there do not venture off into other places and literally any post you click right now all the users there have one thing in common: every account is less than 90 days old. Pizzagate never had a big following on reddit so I'm wondering how all this people got filtered to specifically Voat.

Mods are deleting posts that shouldn't be deleted. They are looking out for themselves and have no interest in seeing this investigation go further. No one knows who they are or why or how they got leading positions in a subverse that seems to value damage control more than stopping pedophiles. There have already been instances where evidence is being handed directly over to the ones those that wish to bury it. What has happened is a clique has formed there and if you dont follow the clique you will be disregarded. That is the key method of how important movements become irrelevant/subverted.

Voat has already been home to known pedophiles who operate freely. It should come to no surprise that the people you think are helping catch bad guys are bad guys themselves.
