So I have been banned from GoatMountain after a politically motivated 'referendum' - with this new Voat Votes roll out. If this is going to be applied to system subs, as was suggested on the thread above, this may herald Voat's last gasp as a viable platform, as the worst idiots target people for bans with 'referendums'. We'll see what happens I suppose.

Hard to see how this improves Voat.

I'm not familiar with this new rule. Does it mean that you can become banned due to the result of a poll? And the person who bans you is the person who started the poll and he doesn't have to be a mod to do it. Sounds a bit strange to me.

In this case I was banned by majority vote.
