I've said this before, and I know it's a somewhat unpopular opinion, but I find this type of argument about our supposed altruism to explain our demise laughable at best. It really makes me cringe, and highlights to me the exact reason of why we've destroyed ourselves, which is why I'm always inclined to respond to it.
Think about what is being said here: 'Oh, we're just too great for our own good and other people exploit us, those meanies'. It's basically passing our faults as virtues. The fact is, we created this stupid world of technological and usurious slavery; we sold our birthright and our souls for entertainment and pleasure; we focused on the earthly and forgotten the eternal, and poetic justice dictates we lose both of course. And it was OUR fault, no other. And not just the elites' fault - no, the common folk are responsible too. I see it everyday, my countrymen focused on football and booze, lazy and indulgent, while their daughters dress like whores and their sons drown in porn and video games. What does he care? Just hand him another beer and let him watch the game.
Is it morally wrong to exploit a weakness, as the Jews did and still do? Surely. Does it turn those weaknesses into strengths? No, and pretending it does helps as much as pretending that all we need to do is get rid of all those aliens to our culture and we will be fine. Bull excrement. The fact is we were already lost long before these people arrived in our shores or were allowed free reign over our culture. We have these aliens in our midst because we were and are weak. Hoisted by our own petard. We were too busy jerking each other off about our greatness, happy to indulge in all kinds of vice and feel good about ourselves, while pretending that we're so great for helping those other poor people the world over because we destroy their markets and their morals with the stuff we no longer want because we crave novelty above all.
I'll give you an example of our self-made demise and our screwed up priorities: do you know when Sweden legalized sodomy? In 1944. The whole world is burning in the most bloody war ever seen and what do the great white people think it's important? To pander to butt buddies, so they can sodomize each other in peace. Does this show that they had their heads in the right place? Was it their altruism and niceness? Was it the Jews? No, it was decadence. The same that makes our countries the ones promoting all kinds of filth - or if you rather, going along with it - and man do we go along with it. Being passive little bitches to the Jewish subversion is not a strength, and just pointing towards them doesn't help us. We have to realize this fault in our own soul.Why are we so permeable to their poison? Weren't they always like this. You can read the Talmud to find out. They have. So what changed? We changed. We became weak. Charity is a virtue, indiscriminate altruism is just lack of discernment, a grave fault.
This excuse is essentially the same as the black people who blame all their dysfunctions on Europeans: 'huwyte pippo dindu nutin - it's all someone else's fault, those other people that take advantage of us, because we're so great. Give me a break. This avoidance of responsibility is exactly why we're such a mess. Stop making excuses, stop thinking it's other people's fault. It's not, it's ours. To use a common theme: you can highlight the mosquitoes that are biting you all you want, and you should, but then pull your head out of your arse and clean the swamp where you live - the mosquitoes will disappear
This is why I no longer care about politics. I know a guy which I used to associate in Portuguese nationalists circles. He is intelligent and well spoken. Recently I found out that his wife bosses him around, teaches feminist crap to his children and constantly berates him for being 'racist' and 'homophobic'. It's a perfect illustration: he, the great nationalist who has so many great ideas to restore our country to greatness, can not even get his house in order. Who can he blame for this other than himself? No one. Same with all those false prophets of whiteness that are just an emblem of how stupid and weak we have become: Spencer, Heimbach, Duke, Enoch. None of these guys has their house in order, but boy oh boy do they point their finger at everyone else. Who can really trust these idiots?
We must get our house in order first and to do so, we must stop passing our weaknesses as strengths and pretending that it's all someone else's fault. The ones who do will survive. Everyone else will just be a fart in the wind.

I'm not impressed with analysis that amounts to it's all our fault. This post rather laughably blames legal sodomy and girls wanting to dress sexy and totally overlooks the overriding threat of population explosion. Getting submerged in non-whites is the huge issue and people that go off on degeneracy seem to me to subsuming other pet peeves under the rubric of Western decline.

Immigration is hardly the only issue we're suffering under, and is merely a symptom of a larger problem.
Blaming our problems on immigrants is like blaming the Jews for everything.
Hispanics and Africans have sex and have kids. Whites jerk off to pornography. And somehow the fault is with the Hispanics and Africans who are doing the natural thing?
If people think that 1.5 births per woman is a feasible long-term position for our nations to hold, I don't know what to say. It's not Africans' fault that whites aren't reproducing. It's not a zero-sum game.
The forum post is less about migration and more about all the other clown-world problems we're suffering from and, indeed, most of them are our fault for all the reasons listed in the post.
A laughable position is that since the population is exploding in Africa there is a metaphysical certainty that they must be resettled into Western countries. One does not follow from the other at all.

People can't come if they don't exist. That we have already been overrun by Mexicans is directly attributable to post-war population explosion in that country. Meanwhile, what we really need to be worrying about is football and low cut tops apparently.
Birthrates collapsed below replacement in the 1970s. Long before internet pornography. But if the birthrate was 2.5 would the situation be findamentally different? There is reason for doubt. I don't think Mexicans or Africans stop moving out of shitholes or warzones just because we have more kids.

That's not saying anything "innovative". That's like saying we wouldn't have flash floods if rain didn't exist. All throughout human history there have been invasions. Perhaps the biggest difference between then and now is that Western countries today have some of the most sophisticated militaries in history and the people invading are entirely unarmed. The idea that Europe can't defend itself against some Africans floating on an orange raft in the middle of the Mediterranean is ridiculous. Or that Americans have no way of preventing Central Americans from crossing the border, going on welfare, sending their kids to schools, using our hospitals, and working at the local farms. Sorry, not buying it. Migration is a completely self-imposed problem and the motivation is money.
Now you brought up football and I think it's the perfect example of how stupid we've become. And I'm not one of these people who hates sports, but America is totally retarded when it comes to sports today. It's now a fundamental part of our culture. And what you have is on any given weekend the country's white men will don a uniform with some other man's name on his back and sit there and idolize a bunch of black men throwing around a leather ball. (And here I use idolize as a proxy word for worship, veneration, adoration -- whatever you want to call it.) And it's just as bad in Europe with soccer. Half of these European teams are black. White men idolize these people. They make them millionaires and give them high social standing and wear their uniforms and applaud their achievements. Then there are those who are shocked when they find out white women are fucking black guys. What do you expect? Their fathers, their brothers, their boyfriends put black athletes high up on the social hierarchy scale.
I think this guy's analysis shows a lot more breadth of examination than you're willing to give credit for. There are A LOT of long-standing problems in Western countries that have nothing to do with African birthrates. You go into your place of employment and say, "This person has a dick and is therefore a man" and let us know how long you're employed.

Migration issues are not simply self-imposed. They make the decision to come here, they're the ones submerging us in our presence. At most what can be said is that we do a poor job of addressing an issue that their very existence creates. But if they didn't exist there would be no issue. And it's not as if massive population explosion is something that happens every century. That it did happen last century is the key issue that put us behind the eight ball at all.
In the US specifically we don't even need Africans. Though we're starting to get those too. We have a long-standing black problem already of course. White men have been watching niggers play sports since Joe Louis. If one wants an explanation for mixing it too is found at least as much in plain demographic realities. There were about 22.5 million blacks here in 1970. It is now closer to 50 million - with a decline in the relative number of white females of child bearing age. The average black is in his early 30s and the most common age for them is about 27. In other words circumstances mean there is a lot more opportunity for white women to fuck niggers than in the past.

Great post. The pathological altruism canard really falls apart the more closely you inspect it. Frankly, the idea that White people are just too gosh darn nice is laughable. I think people who make that argument are just trying to sound too clever for their own good, like when they claim "progressivism is a religion" or "liberals are the real racists".

Wow I wish I could write like this guy. Every time I see the "altruism" argument here on voat -- and I'm seeing it less and less these days -- I try to counter it with the fact that what they're calling "altruism" is actually the vice of false compassion, which is rooted in self-centeredness (as all effeminacy is), and is actually a sign of weakness (as all vice is).
I think from now on I'll just link to this post.
If people want to change the world we can start by changing ourselves.
