Alright, I'll exercise my free speech to go against the Voat hive mind (and collect a bunch of downvotes, I'm sure): I think the Jewish conspiracy theories are laughably stupid.

The average Voat user thinking that they can't get ahead in life because of "The Jews" is about as moronic as black people thinking that the reason why they can't get ahead is because of "white privilege" (or alternatively "racism").

One of the strongest predictors of societal success is being raised in a two-parent home, and Jewish families are the least likely to be raised in a single parent household (Jews are 12% single parent whereas whites in general are 29% single-parent). Jews are good at teaching their children about the importance of hard work, which coupled with the high heritability of IQ means that Jews will statistically be smarter than average and work harder than average. This is why they make up a larger percentage of doctors, lawyers, CEO's, and politicians. Japanese and Korean Americans are also doing very well by most metrics for similar reasons.

I am not Jewish, to be clear, but I really don't get the appeal of these Jewish conspiracies at all.

Nobody cares if jews are successful. It's what they are successful at. They are deliberately focused on and concentrated in any industry that allows them to control the narrative.

The question is "why oh why does your mind automatically go to jealousy when the concern is about control and national interests being hijacked?"

Fuck off with your "jealousy" and "fear". People can oppose things without being solely motivated by these emotions. "Why do you FEAR diversity?" That crap doesn't work any more lol....

First of dunderflutz, multiculturalism always leafs to civil war. Multicultural Syria has been civil warring longer than you know Lebanon etc. The Balkans, Yugoslavia; That clusterfuck of diversity caused the first world war because multiculturalism balkanizes everywhere it touches. Who told you diversity is a strength and why did you just believe them.

I put that bit in quotes, contrasting it with my own ideas at the start of the post, and dismissing it with my final sentence. Do try to keep up!

Ah, and Syria was pretty comfy just a few years ago. The less civilised elements were held firmly in check by the ruthless though largely benign rulers, until the USA decided to fuck the place up. Hmmm, and the Balkans only "caused" the Great War in so far as the idiots in Vienna thought they could annex big chunks of it (when they could barely even keep their Magyar subjects from destroying the empire).

Syria has been nothing but coup after coup. Overthrown governments, war and civil unrest forever. Good god, even a quick look at that propaganda machine, wikipedia would fill you in after a minute or two of reading. Lord only knows why you'd choose to listen to the voices in your head instead is beyond me.

Let's just ignore those last few decades of stability, eh? Let's imagine that things don't get increasingly irrelevant to the contemporary situation the further back you go in history, and suppose that the region's mediaeval history is as pertinent as the 1970s, 80s and 90s...

You're done. You think a few decades is the deciding factor? You just have to be a teenager.

Look, the inhabitants have drawn the short straw when it comes to location. Egyptians, Hittites, Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Crusaders, Ottoman Turks, Egypt again and then the bloody French! Obviously, there is some decent human capital there, though. This is Ugarit we're talking about. Byblos. Damned unlucky down the ages, simple as that. There are some shittier parts to the population, sure, particularly where good old Arabism is strongest, but you can't just dismiss the place as doomed without it even being worth the natives trying to fix it. You can't just pin the misfortunes down on any one simple internal factor. They were still barely out of the Ottoman mess but the Assad clan DID achieve great things there, only for Tel Aviv and its vassals to go fuck it all up.

A country is it's people. It takes a particular kind of arrogance and bigotry to believe that all people are exactly the same. It's also childish and scientifically wrong and extremely damaging to the human spirit to try to strip individuality from races and people.

I'd go to open warfare and combat against you for that.

Oswy ago

A country is its people, so look where the combatants in the "civil" war there have largely been recruited from! Syria was its people in 1990 too, you know!

Enjoy your future killing fields.
