It was great. It was like everyone just KNEW everyone else was a decent person. We could just leave our shit lying around wherever. Left our extra gear in the lodge, like everyone else did. Everyone was nice and polite, you could just chit chat with random people. Kids were really well behaved. Well I saw a few throw a fit when they couldnt stand up again, but everyone on the lift was just giggling at them.
I cant wait to go back.
Oh, and it was really fun too. Asshole friend pushed me down a blue after about 3 hours.
Highly suggest as a hobby.

Just wait, eventually skiing a blue is easier then standing in normal shoes.

It did seem like you really just had to say "fuck it" and barrel down the hill because skiis maneuver better when they're actually going fast. It's weird at first.

Also if you ever sprain your ankle go skiing anyway. The boot completely locks out your ankle.

Yeah those things were fucking monsters, I wasn't expecting how the lift hits them and pushes you at first.

You had a lot of snow then. The hight of the lift changes based on snow level.
On a smooth slope you can have complete control just from leaning. From/back changes where the skies bite which controls rotation speed.
