The differences between musical sound and noises...sometimes they dont even use correct samples, I dont mind the hi hat so much at least that's some kind of Greek Turkish Chinese heritage, a Hit Hat or Ride typically has a tone by design. You craft something a cymbal or ride or hi hat sounds the way it is shiny, dark, agressive, bright, it has a certain craft and color because some dude in some workshop or factory or home crafted it to be an instrument. My biggest problem is the 16th notes are instead broadcasting like a robotic a broken trash can, a box of noisy cutlery, a bunch of wires screws and garbage dump objects... they removed the beauty or music that could be found in a good sample and instead deliver this buzzing electronic noise, the notes are also very straight rigid and robotic, there is no dynamic or human element to the hit hat it is simply a noisy electronic beat with no human touch.
No such thing as "negro music". It all came from whites in Appalachia. Blues, folk, rock, country ALL OF IT. The same way there's no such thing as "soul food". Its all white rural food. Rap came from Vikings doing what they called "Flyting".
