An even better example is Jazmine Barnes. She was killed in a drive by shooting and her mother claimed the shooter was a white guy in a pickup truck. That claim spurred national attention. Check this shit out.

Then it turned out the shooter was black. Everyone instantly dropped the story. Such bullshit.
