Men who insist on the media are at best, preparing to no longer have access to the female (leave), and at worst, attempt to ruin her life in much more extreme, pervasive, manner.

Sex is for creating and keeping a family. Stop having it outside of that.

Having your porn videos leaked may ruin your life/relationships more abruptly than ruining your capacity for intimacy/family, but it doesn't ruin it more so. It's just not as obvious because the enemies of humanity inundate you with poison to distract you from it.

I have a boner right now and I'm confused...

People have sexual needs and technology helps to alleviate those needs, especially in the high-pressure, modern society in which we find ourselves.

I've exchanged a lot of videos/photos with chicks, sometimes partners, sometimes chicks online whom I've never met IRL, and none of us have "leaked" them.

The first reason is that I'm not a dick... even my communist ex-wife who broke my heart, as much as I wanted to do it, I didn't. The second reason is that a lot of chicks are careful, with hiding faces, building-up trust, hiding, not disclosing personal info on the media or to the sendee.

I guess my point is that men shouldn't be dicks about it and women should be careful.

And really, the percentage of personal erotic media getting leaked, though the numbers are high, is relatively low.

Having said all that, it's stupid to kill yourself over some leaked erotic media... if someone does that, they had more issues than embarrassment.
