It's been a few months since we declared our independence from /v/ProtectVoat, and I wanted to check in and make sure everyone is enjoying their time in GA.

Are things better now than before? About the same? Are there any problems or problem users you'd like to bring up?

I promised I would protect this place, and I am just as dedicated to doing that now as I was when all of this started. Whatever you may see me say/do, or hear about me, I'm on your side.

Thank you for your site. I found Q at the very beginning and was hooked at his first post. I don't know how I found him as I'm not a 'techi' or computer geek at all. I tried once to post on here and wasn't allowed because I didn't do something right and became 'suspect' which I understand. I'm just a grandma who loves this country and prays for all the guys and gals who are really 'techies' and know how to do the research on all the important hidden things (like the airplane 'fags' etc.) I've learned a lot and I can't tell you how grateful I am for your site and all the anons on here who help keep us informed by what they find. The subverse often is down. A friend has not been able to become a participant and always gets GA is not taking any more participants. I miss the Reddit posts as I felt more of us were doing serious research, still some excellent research, but not so much as before.

I do like the fact so many relevant links are posted to news articles and other important websites.

So many on GA are supportive, polite, intelligent and have excellent communication skills. There are many on the site that would make good "in-person" friends.

Also, it is great to be able to communicate with like minded people.

The shills are easy to spot and easy to just jump over their posts.

Being able to read the posts quickly is a big plus. Being able to sort by hot topics or date submitted is very helpful.

Thank you for your hard work - it is very much appreciated.

Seriously? I feel like maybe it's a glitch in his browser or device, as weird as that may sound. Has he tried a different device and browser?

I cannot imagine a subverse blocking new registrations. I could see Reddit doing that before their GA was taken down because that was blatant censorship, but that I know of, there is no 'maximum members reached' number.

Maybe someone with more technical Voat knowledge that I can weigh in on this one.

Voat itself is down a lot, and does not allow the creation of a new username at this juncture.

GA itself is not down when Voat is not, and does not limit participants beyond removing those that are only here to shit on the carpet and call it "speech".

too bad about voat not allowing newbies, my friend had a great "handle" Tom.Q.Errifick - for those of us that found cool 1950's classic TV shows on the internet - there is Captain Kangaroo, Tom Terrifick, Howdy Doody, Princess SummerFallWinterSpring and my all time favorite - Froggy the Gremlin ("Hiya, kids! Hiya hiya hiya hiya!").

Froggy was a troublemaker. Disrespectful of adult authority figures, Froggy played practical jokes and disrupted the presentations of other guests. If a guest were to demonstrate how to paint a wall, he might say, "And now I'm going to take this can of paint..." Froggy would chime in, "And dump it over my head." And the confused guest would proceed to do so.

What I wonder is - are the demorats channeling Froggy's disruptions? OK dems - take the impeachment plan and dump your chances for 2020.

Or maybe God is just making sure everything the dems do will just dig their hole deeper? I have a friend that says, "when you are in hole - stop digging"
