I don't know enough about the GA governor to say, though at face value he looks like DS trash.
However, there might be another play at hand here..hear me out.
Assuming the GA state legislature is sufficiently whitehat (someone from GA could shed light on this), this may be the move to force their hand into declaring the election illegitimate and therefore no one gets the electoral votes from GA. If this happens in 2 or 3 select states, I believe it forces the election to go to the congress...where Trump wins easily.
