The ONLY way to interpret taking out Gen. Qasem Soleimani is that the US wants to provoke Iran into a response that could "justify" going to WAR against Iran. We have no comparatives to Soleimani in the US today. But I would say it would be similar to the Iranians taking out a favored son like Eisenhower or Patton. If Trump's wish was to produce a solidarity amongst the Iranians then you just did it. But I'm sure the Jewish soothsayers and the NeoCons among Trump's administration made Trump feel like this was exactly the right thing to do. Just like they did to W when he was POTUS. Scott, you did right in lifting a mug to American servicemen. MANY are likely to end up DEAD someday because of this and other provoking acts towards Iran. Frankly your opinion is insane if you choose Soleimani, who Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, once referred to as “a living martyr of the revolution” and Gen Petraeus, then head of US forces in Iraq, singled him out as “truly evil”.

Taking aim at Iran's Qud '"general and spymaster was a master stroke to deal with Iran's increasing tensions over the past couple to a few years.

It is all the American servicemen, Iranian innocents, and who knows else that would be KILLED in a war with Iran. And let me tell you straight out.
