I just finished reading Philemon in my study Bible. The study notes reminded that Paul sent greetings to/from those who hosted the early Christian church in their homes, like Philemon. And this made me think of my Mom, "the hostess with this mostest".
My Mom was a homemaker. She influenced me greatly. She hosted church prayer meetings in our home, and joked that she was "the hostess with the mostest".
She influenced me greatly. She taught skills like cooking and cleaning and caring for others. She served Dad and US breakfast, lunch and dinner. She helped us be ready. She lived her values as a Christian. She was a HOMEmaker.
As the American family disintegrates, as the call goes out for workers to work, as houses and apartments and huts are no longer homes, I feel compelled to give a shout out to the homemakers.
So, in memory of my Mom, I shout
HOMEMAKERS ARE IMPORTANT!

I gave up a very lucrative corporate job in my early 30's to stay home & raise our children. The BEST decision of my life. Fortunately, my husband was supportive of this. In fact, he's the one who brought up the idea of me staying home. So lucky to be with him!

Ditto. Homeschooled them too.
Awesome husband too - high five girl!
BEST thing I ever did with my life.
Titus Ch 2:3-5
3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
obedient to their own husbands --> the husband is the HEAD of the household, the wife is under his lead. He has a HUGE responsibility to lead his family in Christ.

Yes. You are so right. I love and respect my dear husband of almost 31 years. I do sort of feel sorry though for the misguided feminazis who try to rip apart women whom they are jealous of, for gracefully displaying our femininity, while they desperately struggle to try to shed theirs and put in masculinity instead.

Don’t shout this too loudly, the feminazis will have a field day with you, you gave it up on ur own free will, no u didn’t ur husband brought it up, how lucky u are to have him hahahahaha, honestly hope u are a genuine poster but there’s quite a lot in ur statement that the feminists will rip you apart for.

I don't think I'm a bot. This is actually from my life experiences.

You present a false narrative. My husband didn't tell me to stay home - or order me to. He simply let me know he was okay with being the sole financial support of the family if I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom.
The feminists can think whatever they want - I don't care. They are a huge reason this country is in the mess we are in. Supporting abortion & voting for extreme liberal positions because apparently it makes them "feel good" to give away other people's money. And voting solely for HRC because she's a woman - that's downright ignorance and/or insanity.
Feminists typically aren't feminine at all. I have no wish to associate with them.

Who cares what they think? Nothing is more rewarding than being there for your child’s early years, and you don’t get a second chance.
