Could you explain why one would pray for Trump if praying is for your personal relationship? How does me praying for Trump help a relationship with a God who isn't going to change anything anyway since he already knows what happens?
So does meditation. It's not some supernatural thing though. Just sit in silence and youll have the same effect. Or positive affirmations. That's just psychology. Not God.
