It's been discussed before & is interesting as well as definitely something to look into but be wary of making jumps based on little things.
"Q" is a common abbreviation/appellation for a lot of stuff. There's Q clearance, Q group, tons of other Govt-related things. There's multiple fictional characters called Q from James Bond to Star Trek. Many real people have Q as a nickname. It's been used as a pseudonym by authors.
I'm not sure why they would want to basically put a giant red sign pointing to who they are, that's why I think Q clearance is a red herring as well.
I think it's probably an inside joke or has some certain meaning to Q team that won't make sense till later if ever...that's how a lot of these things are picked. It might just be the first initial of somebody on the teams kid or their favorite basketball player or something.
It's worth looking into because it's possible the team WANTS us to know who they are, but it doesn't make much sense for them to do that.
Right now the link is so tenuous, this is why I don't like the people that go all in on gematria and stuff like that on here (not saying that's you OP)
...because it turns everything into some giant cereal box puzzle hunt and over complicates things and clouds the issue and gets people looking for "clues & connections" everywhere when we need to be reading the drops and keeping eyes on midterms...and listening when Q says to not over think things.
