As someone who lurked and posted there almost constantly - there really is no justification. TGA in particular was 95% hyper-Christian and frowned upon using bad words in memes. It would be an unbelievable stretch for me to accept that anything hurtful or negative could come from that.
I guess the one positive is that it gave me an excuse to use voat.
