Any time the government switches from Democrat control to Republican (or vise versa) higher ups in government positions are replaced by the party in power. This time around the Dems thought they could retain control of the senate and congress, so there's all this drama in Washington. It's just the D's and R's fighting for control.
Same with large corporations replacing higher ups in their companies. Corporations do it so that government will continue to pass bills and laws that are favourable to those corporations.
Q is a way of getting people riled up for the midterm elections, and to get them to vote Republican.
