Here is a reason. Iran, just like NK, was made a CIA puppet back when they overthrew the Shah. Therefore we are currently left with a CIA puppet going against the other local nations. A CIA puppet that was recently flooded with money, and has nuke tech.
So YES, if that is the case, and I think it is, then "regime change" would be highly appropriate. It isn't even regime change in that case, but the undoing of a previous takeover and occupation.
So...no what? We didn't overthrow the Shah? We didn't "influence" the new govt there? We didn't hand them billions of dollars under the previous admin? Israel doesn't use them as the excuse for needing billions of US dollars every year?
